About Us
The Geopolitics Society
Meeting weekly in Geopolitics Society, we explore the forces shaping today’s world — from the geopolitics of cartels and the drug trade in South America, to the emerging shipping routes in the Arctic and their global implications, to neocolonialism in Africa and regional conflicts such as the Thai-Cambodian border dispute.
Each week, a pupil leads by presenting on a chosen topic, after which we open the floor to a lively, team-oriented debate. This format allows us to dive deeper into international affairs, sharpen our understanding of global power structures, and develop our skills in public speaking, debating and critical analysis.
